Santa Cruz Mountain Cabs in Tahiti? Yes, it's true!
Tahiti isn't known for a rich wine history, so Food & Wine Trails will bring the wine culture with us on a spectacular Tahiti and Society Islands cruise aboard m/s Paul Gauguin. Lush Huaine, beautiful Bora Bora, postcard perfect Moorea and the private islet of Motu Mahana will be our backdrop for a "perfect pairing", as we are apt to say in the wine biz.
You're invited to join Laura and myself in welcoming the New Year of 2018 along with Clos LaChance Winery owners Bill & Brenda Murphy as we glide through the shallow South Pacific seas. Among the several on board events planned, Bill and myself will host a very exciting tasting of Santa Cruz Mountain cabs, including not only the fine wines of Clos LaChance, but also hand-picked selections from Ridge Vineyard's Monte Bello collection (rated one of the best wines in the world by Wine Spectator and Decanter) and Kathryn Kennedy wines.
In addition to the great time we will have on board, part of what makes a voyage with Paul Gauguin Cruises so special is the access their small ship (only 332 guests) provides to some of the most idyllic, unspoiled beaches. On the private white-sand beach of Bora Bora you can do as much or as little as you want - snorkel, sunbathe or try one of the many complimentary watersports equipment from the ship's marina. Treat yourself to an overwater massage and enjoy a sumptuous beach barbecue and cocktails from the floating bar while in Motu Mahana. Every day is a new adventure and the possibilities are endless on these enchanting islands.
You don't want to miss this unique opportunity to sip and savor award-winning cabs in one if the most breathtaking places on earth. On behalf of Bill, Brenda, Laura and myself, we look forward to seeing you aboard m/s Paul Gauguin for a 2018 New Year celebration in Tahiti!
