MALTA

Malta is a small island nation in the Mediterranean Sea, known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture.  South of Italy and north of Libya, the Maltese archipelago conssists of three main island: Malta, Gozo, and Comino.

With a history that dates back to around 5900 BC, Malta has been inhabited by a variety of civilizations.  It was a British colony from 1814 until it gained independence in 1964.

The capital city of Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Baroque architecture, including St. John’s Co-Cathedral and the Grandmaster’s Palace.  Malta offers a unique blend of historical richness, cultural diversity, and natural beauty, making it a fascinating destination and an interesting place to explore.
