Fresh off a successfully sold out Mediterranean wine cruise, Duckhorn understands their club members and fans want more adventure, with in-depth wine experiences and expanded knowledge of regions beyond the norm.   With that we are pleased to announce Duckhorn Portfolio’s 2021 Wine Cruise to South America!

The journey begins with Food & Wine Trails optional pre-cruise land program to the wine region of Mendoza, one of the fastest growing wine producing regions in the world. Known for its Malbec, the vineyards thrive in some of the highest elevations and are irrigated with runoff from melted glaciers in the Andes.  You’ll spend 3 nights exploring Argentina’s wine capital with our expert guide and sommelier., enjoying fine cuisine and incredible wines.  Our next featured land option includes two nights in the sensual and captivating city of “tango” – Buenos Aires – where you’ll discover their gourmet cuisine, exquisite wines and the exceptional “urban art” scene.  By the end of these two pre-cruise programs, you’ll have acclimated to the time and weather changes and more importantly, have made new friendships to carry on through the duration of the 10-day cruise.

On January 8th it’s time to step aboard the beautiful Oceania Cruise’s Marina in Buenos Aires and meet the rest of your fellow cruisers and hosts for 10-days along South America’s eastern shores.  As your luxury ship travels north, explore Uruguay’s Montevideo where the quaint Old Town streets date back to the 1700’s and the local wines are impeccable.  But the main spotlight is on Brazil, dig your toes into seemingly endless white-sand beaches and sway your hips to the Latin rhythms! Ports include Rio Grande, Porto Belo, Santos Parati, Iha Grande Buzios and finally Rio de Janerio, where Sugar Loaf Mountain, Ipanema and Copacabana await!

All along the way, you’ll be treated with exclusive onboard events, Duckhorn-style!  Look forward to many exceptional vintages during receptions, tastings, and the always popular Winemaker’s Dinner.

The Pinnacle of Contemporary Comfort

Marina blends sophistication with a contemporary flair to create a casually elegant ambiance. From the sparkling Lalique Grand Staircase to the stunning Owner’s Suites furnished in Ralph Lauren Home, designer touches are everywhere, highlighting the finest residential design and furnishings. More than anything, Marina personifies the Oceania Cruises experience.

Intimate and luxurious, Marina retains the same warmth and charm of her acclaimed consorts RegattaInsigniaNautica and Sirena. While the country club casual ambiance and level of personalized service remain the same, Marina offers even more choice and some enticing new amenities. Designed for epicureans and travel connoisseurs, Marina offers guests multiple dining venues, of which six are open-seating gourmet restaurants with no surcharge. La Reserve by Wine Spectator offers enlightening seminars, tastings, and gourmet food pairings. The Culinary Center is the only hands-on cooking school at sea, featuring a range of enriching cooking classes by master chefs. Similarly, talented artists-in-residence offer step-by-step instruction in arts and crafts in Artist Loft enrichment center. Baristas, our signature coffee bar, serves up illy® espresso and coffee and freshly made pastries. Intimate lounges abound. Accommodations in every category are incredibly spacious, especially with regard to the lavish bathrooms.

Yet remarkably, with so many additions, the onboard ambiance and experience remains comfortably familiar. We have retained everything our guests adore about our ships and raised the bar even higher. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.
